Proudly Supporting the Great People and Programs of Our Venice, Florida Police Department

The Venice Police Charitable Foundation is administered by local Venice business members with a mission to support Venice Police Department employees in times of extreme personal need, foster wellness and professional development, and to support and enhance community outreach programs and partnerships.

Some Existing Programs Include:

Blue Santa - VPD has a 34 year history of helping families bring Holiday cheer to area children. We support the program financially and with volunteers as needed. VPD typically serves between 80-100 families each year.

Shark Tooth Fishing Tournament - Venice area charter boat captains donate their time and resources to work with the VPD and the Foundation in making sure special athletes have a great day on the water. Next year will be 25 years for this program.

Shop with a Cop - We support VPD as they team up with the Salvation Army each year to help get local kids off to a great school year with supplies and clothes.

ClassRooms and Cops - VPD School Resource Officers and staff team up to bring safety and leadership classes to local 5th graders.

Community outreach programs- we support the VPD with their incredible homeless assistance abilities, mental health assistance, and other social services in emergency situations.

Employee assistance - we support the VPD as it supports its employees in times of critical need. We support their wellness and development programs as we recognize their sacrifices to serve our wonderful city.

We believe everyone deserves the chance to thrive. That’s why we partner with the Venice Police to support them and their exceptional community outreach and internal assistance programs.
